Boom Free 4th of July Fireworks Turn In Campaign Leave the Shows to the Pros

Please join Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy in our effort to put an end to neighborhood fireworks!

Neighborhood fireworks cause suffering for pets and veterans and put our communities at risk.

Did you know that July 4th is the cause of the largest number of lost/stray pets in the entire year? Did you know that many of those pets injure themselves or lose their lives running in terror from the noise? Did you know that fireworks can trigger extreme fear and anxiety in veterans with PTSD?

We are asking people to Celebrate with Compassion by turning in fireworks and committing to not setting off any neighborhood fireworks this year!

We’ve partnered with several of our local fire stations to act as turn in locations.

Commit to a fear free holiday! June 24th to July 3rd Turn in your fireworks! Need some incentive?
Anyone who turns in their fireworks will be entered into a drawing for an LG 49 inch flat screen TV (a $600 value)!

We will be hosting educational tables at Ohso Brewery locations on Saturday, June 29th from 9am to 1pm to spread the word. These tables will be manned by animal welfare professionals, veterans and firefighters united to end neighborhood fireworks. Stop by and say Hi! Commit to a fear free 4th and get a prize!
