2015 Year End Fund The Future Campaign

Year-end campaign to fund medical costs and on-going support for the rescued souls in our care

Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy is dedicated to saving Pit Bulls and Pit mixes with medical and/or behavioral issues as well as those who survivied abuse in the past. Mayday provides them with the medical attention they need to recover or live as close to a normal life as possible and also invests in training to help these dogs overcome behavioral issues inflicted on them by fighting rings, hoarders or abusive owners.

Therefore our rescues tend to take longer to place and on-going medical and supportive care is a daily need. We have dogs like Budd E. Lee, Eileen, Ever, Honor and Harpo all overcoming dog-fighting and hoarding histories. Gizzy, Lurlene, Ariel and Pebbles learning to live with disabilities and unique medical challenges.

We ask you to help with whatever you can to allow us to continue this work and find homes for these special dogs as well as those that will come in the future.

Thank you for your support; without our generous donors we could not save these special souls and find that special person who will love them forever.

Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy is devoted to rescuing, rehabilitating and securing placement for pit bull and pit bull mixes into responsible, permanent and loving homes.

We strive to educate the public about the pit bull breed in order to relieve suffering and prevent cruelty.

We advocate responsible pit bull ownership and educate the public about breed specific legislation.

Mayday Pit Bull Rescue is made up of a small group of  volunteers based in Phoenix, Arizona, who are dedicated to improving the lives of pit bulls and re-establishing the breed as a beloved family pet.

We work directly with local Animal Care and Control shelters to rescue pit bulls from euthanasia with the goal of rehabilitation and permanent placement.

Owner Surrenders

Unfortunately, Mayday Pit Bull Rescue does not have the resources to accept owner surrenders.  The dogs we rescue and rehabilitate have no one to care for them or make decisions on their behalf.  As the owner of a pet, only you can make the right choices for the health, safety, and wellness of the animal for which you are responsible.  Please consider all options before surrendering your pet.  We ask that you do not contact Mayday Pit Bull Rescue if you are seeking a place to surrender your pet.
